It isn't good.
If you are following a low carb diet you might consider contacting your GP and going over the possible reasons, as low carb can mean normal numbers for many type twos.

Welcome to the forum @Heather Sinclair

Sorry to hear that your BGs have been running high recently.

How long have you been living with diabetes? Perhaps it’s time to give your self-management a bit of an overhaul - these are often recommended as good starting points by members here, and may build on the knowledge you’ve already picked up,as well as filling in some blanks - Maggie Davey’s Letter and Gretchen Becker’s book T2 Diabetes, the first year. You can work through them gradually and they will give you a solid background into T2 and how to manage it.

Often you don’t realise how weary, worn down and lethargic you have been feeling. Erratic and elevated blood glucose levels can be exhausting and are linked with low mood, but this may have come on quite gradually. Making a few positive changes can give you more energy, a clearer mind, and a brighter outlook.

Keep asking questions here too - nothing will be considered too obvious or ‘silly’ and we have centuries of lived diabetes experience on the forum for you to ask 🙂
