Relationship to Diabetes
Type 2
I was diagnosed type 2 a couple of years ago, with losing a bit of weight i've managed to get readings down to borderline. I was orignially tried on several of the meds but none suited me, in fact made me feel worse. I have other health issues diagnosed over 10 years ago, have some food 'no-nos' due to that. My diabetic GP is not particularly helpful and the diabetic nurse who was with the practice has left. I'm at a bit of a loss for support. I cant exercise due to mobility so much of the advice is difficult to adapt.

Welcome @janeo 🙂 It sounds like you’ve done well. Is there any particular advice you need?

Welcome, what kind of support are you needing?

Welcome to the forum @janeo

Sorry to hear you aren’t getting much support from your GP, and that you no longer have access to a diabetes nurse.

Sounds like you are doing well with your diabetes management, and keeping your BG levels in check.

There are lots of friendly folks here to compare notes and experiences with. So fire away with any questions you have, and folks will be glad to help.

Do you monitor your own BG levels at home? Can you remember the result of your last HbA1c?
