Hi all,

Newly diagnosed diabetes with insulin, can anyone recommend any decent diabetes apps for iPhone please.

Welcome to the forum.
Quite a few of us, both T1 and T2 use MySugr.

Welcome @Sapper3857 🙂 I don’t use any diabetes apps, but I did use a notebook early on. I found keeping records in that helped me get to grips with diabetes, food and insulin, and it was a reassurance too.

What insulin(s) are you on? Am I reading it right that you were started on insulin at diagnosis or soon after?

Welcome to the forum @Sapper3857

What are you wanting the app to do?

As @ColinUK says, mySugr is popular for diabetes logging and has an insulin dose calculator. Other members use apps like Carbs and Cals, MyFitnessPal or Nutracheck for carb monitoring. There are others who use specific apps to link various bits of their diabetes kit together or track levels of activity etc.

I second the comment above about what do you want the app to do.
For me, the best app is a notepad (apart from the apps that control my dia-tech) as it gives me the opportunity to document whatever I want.
