Relationship to Diabetes

Have just joined this forum. Was diagnosed with type 2 in March, still getting to grips with things and trying to get some kind of medical care in place - no one is taking responsibility for the care at the moment!

Brooke - welcome. Is your Wickford in Ireland? Just asking, because most members are in the UK, so there are lots of references to NHS etc, which might not apply to you.

Welcome to the forum. Just wondering if there is a DESMOND or X-PERT course in your area? Might be worth getting reffered onto one as you are newly diagnosed.
