Welcome to the forum @Pearson

Congratulations on getting your diabetes in remission (are you defining that as an HbA1c below 48mmol/L without any medication?). What changes did you make in order to turn your diabetes aroind?

Sorry that Covid has put a delay in your follow-up appointments. Seems to be a pretty widespread experience unfortunately.

Look forward to hearing more of your story over the coming weeks and months 🙂

Hi it was after the first yr of being diagnosed i was put metformin 500mg twice a day .but i changed my food portions and ate off a smaller plate i still ate the things i liked but but more veg and bought a mountain bike for more excercise dont have sugar or drinks ie fizzy ect i can get that from fruit but yet again in small amounts and if i do stray for chocolate i switched to dark and then do more on the bike its finding the balance to start with and trying to keep too it .
