Good luck, it’s a lot of lengths! I did swim44 the last couple of times that it ran, but can’t get enough slots at the pool to try it this year with the restricted bookings.

Wow 44 thays a challenge eh how did u get on? Did u pace yersel over the 12 wks or just go for gold? Id imagine 5/6 days a wk possibly 2x a day morning / evening any advice appreciated

For 22 miles I’d just do a mile 2-3 times a week. I’d try and do more than the minimum needed each week so that if you’re not feeling it some weeks or life gets in the way you can have a break without worrying about being behind.

For 44 miles I swam about 5 times a week, but not during certain female times of the month, so had to get ahead in the weeks I did swim. I don’t think I’d try 44 again! I only swim breaststroke and am quite slow so it was a big enough commitment to do 22!

Welcome to the forum @Splash

Best of luck with your swimming challenge 🙂
