Hi @Maria67, welcome to the forum, and how can we help you? Are you newly diagnosed?

Hi Maria67 and welcome to the forum.
I expect we can help you by letting you know that Type 2 diabetes can be controlled just with a way of eating alone. Some of us like me need no diet, no medication, no additional exercise. But we have to discover (using a Blood Glucose meter) which foods are good for us and which ones are not. This lets us know what to eat and what to avoid.

Search Low Carb, LCHF or Keto. And don't fear traditional fats ( just avoid those new fangled so-called vegetable oils which need to be processed using toxic chemicals. Instead look for animal fats such as lard and tallow or traditional fats such as Olive Oil or Coconut Oil.
