Relationship to Diabetes
Type 2
Hi my name is Linda and I'm new here. I am a nurse and also a type 2 diabetic. I am at the moment on a low carb diet and walk 5 miles 5 days a week in an effort to lose weight. I also have arthritis so it's taken time to build up to this. Looking forward to getting tips and new ideas to stop my diet getting too boring. I have list 5kg this month so very pleased

Many eating low carb find that their diet is far more various than when eating the bland carby stodge.
I used to have two shopping lists which I used alternately - even these days I rarely buy mushrooms and tomatoes on the same trip to the shops.

Welcome to the forum Linda from a fellow T2.

Hi and welcome from a fellow low carber although I am Type 1. How are you finding the change of diet. Plenty of tips here for making low carb enjoyable.
Well done on taking up the challenge and doing something positive to change your lifestyle, I hope you will soon be feeling and seeing the benefits.
