Hi Paul

I had a fantastic trip to NY a couple of years ago, and found excellent food in a chain called Essen.
They do amazing freshly made salads, have their own bakery, and you take how much you want to eat, rather than being served up massive USA portions.

There are also loads of other options, where we just always order one meal and share. We never needed more.

Have a fantastic trip.

Have you been before.
Either way make sure you set aside time to do The High Line.

Thanks for the info no first time to New York staying Time Square can’t wait the only problem is fitting everything in in just five days think need holiday when get back lol

The High Line should be at the top of any list, but that is just from what we like to do.
Have a look online. We spent most of a day walking it and dropping off for food at intervals.

Have fun, and let us have any tips.
We are giong back in Dec

How exciting! I remember standing on street and thinking it was just like being on a film set...loved it.

Lots of healthy food choices about, plenty of lovely salads. Servings can be large as @SB2015 says, easy to share and you won’t go hungry. You’ll also be asked so many questions when ordering food that’s it’s easy to swap out things you might not want.

No doubt you’ll be doing lots of walking and this will help work off treats you may have. Have you a meter to keep an eye on your levels?

Maybe don’t over plan, some of the best things are those you come across by accident. Most importantly have a great time! 🙂

There are brilliant salad bars all over the place. Finding good coffee is more of a prob 🙂

I agree.
I was glad to get back to proper coffee.
