Hi Shaun and welcome to the forum. Hope you find it useful, I know I do. I cant advise anything on the type 1 side of things, as I'm an oddball diabetic! But make yourself at home, we are a friendly bunch on here.

Hi Shaun and welcome to the gang🙂.
As Stitch says, we are a friendly bunch so any questions just fire away and one or more of us will be along to help wherever we can.

Hello Shaun

Welcome to the club that no-one wants to join. Sorry you have to be here, but glad you found us.

Early days for you yet - take time to allow yourself to adjust to the diagnosis. Don't be surprised if you go though something like a grieving process - that happens quite a lot. Just allow yourself to work through it, and keep asking questions / updating us / ranting / moaning etc on the forums whenever you need to.

Have a look in the 'useful links' thread at the top of the Newbie section too. Some good stuff in there.

Hi Shaun.

Sounds like you're heading in the right direction. It's quite a learning curve and there'll be a bit of tweaking and a few ups and downs along the way, but you'll get there. Has a course been mentioned to you yet? Maybe a little soon? Anyway, welcome.
