Hi there, I'm new here! I'm not diabetic but my partner is. He was diagnosed with T1 back in 2001 when he was 35.

I am Mum to two beautiful children and I've joined for some support in dealing with my partner and his complete lack of diabetes control. Looking forward to getting to know you all. x

Please join in as much or as little as you like, and your partner is very welcome to join, too.
 
Hi TraceyH, welcome to the forum 🙂 What insulin regime is your partner on? It's great that you are looking for ways to help him regain good control, and there are lots of friendly and experienced people here to help and support you and your family - so any questions you have, please just ask 🙂 Nothing is considered 'silly' so if it confuses or confounds you, please let us know.

Hi Northerner and thanks for the welcome.

He's using Lantus and Novorapid at the moment. I have no idea how much of each he uses and neither does he! Just makes it up as he goes along I think!
