Hi Nita. Welcome 🙂

Your work sounds challenging but very rewarding I hope.

How long have you been diagnosed and are you on any meds?

ANd how is your son/daughter's control? Do they need any hints or tips?

thanks rob - yes my work can be challenging but i enjoy it most of the time.
i have been diagnosed around 10yrs and yes i am on meds (metformin and glicazides (s'cuse spellings) and others for bp.thyroid etc) - i used exanetide for nearly 3 yrs, which helped my weight loss but i began having side effects earlier this year and had to stop taking it and the dr put me back on glicazides now all i want to do is eat and have put weight back on so i am struggling at the moment and a little down.
also struggling with daughter as her control is not good and her recent hba1c was 14++, she is 14 and does not always do her injectons so we are struggling with that also. i do feel i need some kind of refresher on diabetes - how good am i??
