Thank you Steffie,Northener and Margie for your kind welcome..will have a look around and make sure i am doing things right.

The only problem i have at the moment is my feet..(numbness) but i go to a podiadrist to have my nails cut and the nessesary tests done so it is something i have to live with..I just have to be careful and keep them in good shape!!!!!

I too have a numb right foot, especially at night.

Fortunately, it doesn't stop me from doing anything at the moment and my bg control is now pretty good (even with my severe case of the munchies at the moment).

How are you finding your control at the moment?

It's snap then for numb feet(lol) I am coping ok at the moment with diet only. Had my 6monthly review in DEC and all was OK!!!!! Keep off the munchies he!he!

Um, I'm not sure what to say. A diabetic without a meter is like a blind person with no white cane or guide dog.

How do you monitor your quality of control? Do you use A1c, or just weight?
