hello i am new to this site, i am type 1 diabetic, i also have autism and would like to make new friends.🙂

How long have you been diagnosed and what insulin regime are you on ?

I'm sure you'll find making friends on here very easy. We're a mixed bunch, but we have at least one thing in common 🙂

Hello robster i have been diagnosed in 1996 i take 4 injections a day with humlog and one injection a day of lantus i also take metform tablets too.from laura

Have a good look around and ask as many questions as you like. Its a little quite today think lots of people are out with or visiting their Mums.

hello natalie thankyou for your help i will look at the events, that would be nice, i am isolated, so a local group would be good.🙂

DO you mind me asking how your autism affects you with your diabetes ?

ie. does it make it hard to work out ratios and carb count, etc ?

Everyone is different, so it's good to learn from each perspective. 🙂
