Hi @SA2UK, welcome to the forum, there are other carers on here who will be able to empathise and offer good advice. Are you able to say what type of diabetic as this influences the nature of responses to any questions you might have.

Hello and welcome. I am sure you will find lots of helpful advice here. I appreciate that you might feel that it is not your place to share your mother-in-law's details but, if you have a question, the more information you can give , the more focused the answers can be. Nevertheless, Forum members should be sympathetic if you are reticent about sharing if you include a reminder of that fact in your post.

Welcome to the forum @SA2UK

Glad you have found us. Hope you find it helpful to compare notes with others. We have lots of experienced T2s who will be happy to share their experiences, plus a number of carers and spouses too.

And alongside the diabetes support, one of our moderators @Docb has experience of how to get support for your role as a carer, and access any local services that might help you.
