Hi All, am new to Diabetes UK and the forum.

I have Type 2 diabetes and was diagnosed back in November 2019, my HbA1c has varied between 49 and 99 and currently resides at 79.

Currently taking:
2g slow release metformin
10mg of Dapagliflozin
12 units in the morning and 8 units of slow release insulin (Humulin 1 Kwik Pen)
Was on 6mg of glimepiride now replaced with insulin

Have a few other health issues just to make things interesting, (high blood pressure, angina, asthma), smoked for 25 years, stopped 7, now catching up with me!

Am a nightmare with carbs as love pizza

Thanks for introducing yourself @Meady Nice to get a bit more of your story

Welcome to the forum 🙂
