If you would like to share a little about your situation then that will help people make appropriate suggestions and answer any specific questions. Do you know what your HbA1C is that let to your diagnosis as that will indicate how much work you need to do, also have you been prescribed any medication as again that will indicate what dietary approach may be suitable. Losing weight if you need to will help to lower blood glucose as will increasing exercise if you can.
This link may help you with some ideas for moving forward with dietary changes and prompt questions you may have. https://lowcarbfreshwell.com/

Glad you have found us!

Have you been living with diabetes for long? If you are still getting to grips with diabetes and would like to add to the knowledge you’ve picked up already, you might want to register for an account with the Learning Zone (the orange tab in the main menu) which is packed full of informative bite-sized modules. Additionally, for a more personal take, you could read through Maggie Davey’s Letter to the Newly Diagnosed

Good luck, and keep firing away with any questions you have too 🙂
