Welcome to the forum. I’m sorry to hear that your GP practice is changing your medications. Are they increasing the dosage or a different type of medication?
Is the increase in diabetes med because you HbA1C has gone up and dietary changes have not been working. Ideas have changed since your diagnosis in how diet can be just as important as meds so may be worth you looking at that. This link may help you see something you can do to modify your diet. https://lowcarbfreshwell.com/
Blood pressure meds are again something that may need changing as sometimes they are no longer as effective.
I have just changed mine as the amlodipine 5mg I had been taking for donkeys years was making my legs and ankles swell so it was changed to Candesartan but a low dose but it wasn't having much effect so the dose has been increased to 8mg once per day but I was dashing to the loo too often so I have split the dose so 4mg am and 4mg pm and that is better. I will tell the GP when I have some readings to confirm that seems to be better.
You should ask the reason for the change, it should be an agreement between you and your doctor.
Welcome @missymousey1981 Although not typical meds and the dosage can be dropped as well as increased. I'm on the max dose for two of them but I could have done more myself to prevent that. But looking forward it's totally possible to get off meds altogether.
