I have been diagnosed for about 6 yrs and still get very confused around food x

@Cabbage3 welcome to the forum.
What aspect of food is confusing you?

Welcome to the forum @Cabbage3

Sorry to hear youfind food and diabetes slightly confusing. It’s pretty common though. Many newcomers arrive saying they keep hearing different things from different sources…or that if they try to follow all the advice they have heard from various places there is almost nothing left to eat!

This downloadable booklet gives a good overview of enjoying food with diabetes

Additionally, Diabetes UK have published a variety of meal plans here - both low calorie options which aim for weight loss, or low carb plans which aim for less than 130g of total carbs per day to try to improve blood glucose levels.

Hope these help 🙂

Thanks everyone. I've always told those to be that I need to be on low carbs, my problem is that I take two types of meds that increase my appetite, so I'm having to battle that as well and sometimes it just becomes to much x
