Relationship to Diabetes
Type 2
Hi, i'm new to this site. I was put on metformin for PCOS and was only diagnosed with Diabetes T2 after i stopped taking it. So i dont really know how long i've had diabetes for, as symptoms masked by Metformin. Actual disgnosis was probably around 10 yrs ago.

I now take Metformin, Humalog injections & Ozempic injections. I have neuropathy in my feet so have to watch them.

I'm wondering if anyone has tried Liba weightloss capsules as it seems to look ok

Thanks

Hi @Anjeryd welcome to the Forum!! I haven't got the answers to the question you asked but just wanted to give you a warm welcome :D

You are already taking multiple medication to manage your diabetes and it would be unwise if not dangerous to take over the counter additional treatments. These things are not always what they are cracked up to be and you would be better spending your money on good quality foods and addressing your diet.
Sorry if this sounds dismissive but people have become extremely unwell by using untested unregulated products.
If you still feel these would benefit you then you must check with whoever has prescribes your other medications to keep safe.

Welcome to the forum @Anjery

I think it would be wise to check with your GP or pharmacist before adding any kind of supplement.

There are a number of weight loss strategies that forum members have tried (with impressive results) so there are many options to choose from to help you find a method that suits your lifestyle and is effective for you.

Are you seeing any weight loss with the assistance of Ozempic?

Because of the insulin you are taking you have to be a little cautious about dietary adjustments, but have you had any success in the past with either a reduced calorie or low carbohydrate approach?
