Hi and welcome.

I see you are at risk of developing diabetes.... Is that something which has been identified recently or have you been battling it for a while?
Is there anything particular that brings you to the forum.... Dietary advice perhaps or support....We all know how confusing and overwhelming it can be in the beginning....Or just to gain more knowledge and understanding of the condition and how to live well with it?

Welcome to the forum
Would you like to say a bit more about your diagnosis, 'at risk' means your HbA1C will be between 42 and 47mmol/mol but depending on whereabouts you are in that range will indicate how much work you need to do.
Losing some weight if you need to will help and people find that some dietary changes will achieve that and reduce blood glucose.
People adopt usually a low carbohydrate or low calorie approach. As it is all carbohydrates that convert to glucose reducing your intake of those is the first thing to look at. As you are just in the at risk them some modest changes may be all that is needed.

Welcome to the forum @Cool67

Tell us a little more about yourself 🙂

We have several members who have been told they are at risk of developing diabetes who have been able to make some tweaks to their menu, and found activities and exercise that they enjoy - as a result they have been, able to reduce their HbA1c, and steer away from the diabetes diagnosis dividing line.

Good luck, and keep firing away with any questions you have - nothing will be considered too obvious or silly here 🙂

Hi @Cool67 and welcome to the forum 🙂

It would be great to find out a little bit more about you

But if you prefer to just ask questions and find out information that's fine as well!
