Hello my name is Julie and I thought I would introduce myself and join up. I am pre-diabetic and thought this forum might give me some more help

Being prediabetic is basically a wake up call to do something about your lifestyle to prevent crossing that threshold into diabetes.
Making some modest changes to your diet and getting more exercise if you can will help as will losing weight if you need to.

How long is it since you have been told you are at risk of diabetes?

Have you been making some changes already?

Do you have any questions? Or need to let off stream about any frustrations? Folks here ‘get it’ and will be happy to share their own experiences.

There’s no one single approach that works for everyone. It’s very much a case of finding out what works for you, and what you can stick with - but we have many success stories on the forum, and several members have successfully moved from ‘at risk of diabetes’ or full-blown T2D back down into non-diabetes HbA1c results with a variety of different dietary and/or weight loss approaches 🙂
