Relationship to Diabetes
Type 2
Hi. Type 2 diabetes controlled (usually) by careful attention to diet and exercise. Lives in London.

Hi @Holdfast and welcome o the forum.

I'm a T2D in remission due to a Low Carb way of eating. I didn't find exercise did much for me beyond the standard NHS 30 min brisk walk 5 times per week - you know the saying that you can't out-run a poor diet.. Though I have been told I should try some resistance (muscle building) exercise since this would give me a bigger glucose 'tank'.

Hey @Holdfast welcome to the forum! If there is anything you would like to ask, please feel free to respond! We are happy to help in whatever way we can 🙂

Welcome to the forum @Holdfast

Glad you have found us. Diabetes can be a pretty relentless and occasionally infuriating companion. Having the hive-mind of the forum to consult, or just a space to vent and offload any frustrations can be so helpful.

How long have you been living with diabetes?
