Newbie type 1. Libra 2 question

I’ve recently been put on Libra 2 sensor. Must say they’re not very helpful in telling you exactly how to work things. Has anyone done airports. Says can’t go through X-ray machine do you carry through security? Also says don’t use above 50,000 ft??
Long haul definitely above do you wear or not?

Lots of us have done airports. With X-ray some people ask for spares to be looked at and some of us just let them go through the normal X-ray machine.

Also says don’t use above 50,000 ft??

I've no idea about that.

I would. (I've no idea what height the various flights I've been on were at.)

Thank you just ignore worries of X-rays then, that’s good. My long haul cruise at 57,000. Says don’t use maybe just means don’t read.. can’t think of any reason if you’re in a plane there would be a problem… thanks again

I suspect the altitude warning is just to cover themselves in case readings are less accurate. Like many others I’ve flown numerous times with Libre, through all types of scanner, with no problems at all. Had no idea at what altitude though!

I had to switch mine off completely for my flight as Bluetooth devices weren’t allowed, but it was a small plane. Others on larger planes have been allowed their phone switched on with airplane mode which leaves Bluetooth on so you can use libre. Of course have your fingerprick meter with you too for backup.

Unless you are a U2 pilot you won't get anywhere near 50,000ft. Most commercial flights don't go above 45.000 ft that's nearly a mile short.🙂
