Hi and welcome to the forum!:D

My son was also diagnosed 1 year ago - and i am probably very overprotective as he is 11 - so he has a lot in common with you!🙂Bev

hi there and welcome to the forum I guess its only natural for your husband to be concerned for you and be protective after all he loves you very much, im sure theres times he is overbearing but i bet you would not change him for the world lol xx

Hi, welcome to forum you will find the help and support here invaluable. x

Welcome to the forum.

I'm sure your husbands protectiveness will lessen over time, when I first got with my girlfriend she was quite involved and always asked about my blood sugars and had I done my insulin etc. But now she hardly asks, unless I speak to her about it, or if I have a hypo. She is just more relaxed about it all now.

completely agree with sofarway my other half is the same now i only ever bring it up, at first he was non stop asking questions and faffing around me .

Hey, another Yorkie! Howdie! Welcome to the board 🙂 Are you under York hospital, by any chance? Just wondering, because I was talking to my DSN on Monday, and she was saying they were starting up a course for people who had been recently diagnosed, to do Monday nights 🙂

Hey Taz,

Welcome, just ask anything you want to and I'm sure that there'll be an answer or someone to point you in the right direction. I've been type one for fourteen years now and I learn something new every day.

Tom
