Hi everyone, I'm new to the forum but have been Type 1 for 35 years.

I'm not the best diabetic so to help I'm being reviewed for a pump (first meeting in a week) and just wondered what advice if any, anyone had who has been diabetic for a long time and is used to their old ways, but is getting used to, or has got used to the new tech that's now out there to help us.

I'm a bit worried that I'm going to have to relearn everything I know, although also realise it is for the best, but wondered how people have dealt with this and any tips they have.

Thanks

Rach

Hi @RachS and welcome to the forum - many of our members have moved from MDI to pumps, most with great success - I'm not one so can't offer any specific advice but if you look in the "Pumping and Technology" section of the forum there are numerous threads in there that may help - although I'm sure someone will pop along here soon to offer some advice - glad you have found us
