I'm dave, and I've recently been diagnosed Type 1.

Glad that you have found us, and do fire away with any questions that you have.

It is a lot to take in at first but the best analogy I heard was that it is like learning to drive. It seems complicated at the start but soon becomes automatic. You are still watching for problems along the way but happily doing the standard stuff along the way.

If you feel like letting us know hw you were diagnosed, and what insulins you are on it will help us tailor our answers.
