Relationship to Diabetes
Type 2
Hi all, I am newly diagnosed type 2 diabetic! Not a fan of still or sparkling water, I was wondering can anyone recommend a sugar free squash that is actually sugar free. Thanks Matt

Have you tried the flavoured water less than 0.5g carb/100ml.
That would be what you want to look for in squash that the carbs in the diluted drink would be less than o.5g /100ml or just dilute the others a lot more.

Welcome to the forum @mattrichardson130979
Sorry to hear of your diagnosis.

I am a bit of a fan of sparkly water so rarely opt for any juices or squashes.
Sorry not to be able to help you with this.

Do keep the questions coming.

Hi and welcome to the forum @mattrichardson130979

Robinson’s ….. fruit twists with barley I drink no effect on levels

I'd second Robinson's, although I'd stick with the standard variety - some contain more sugar... 😉

Have you come across the Tetley and Twinings Cold Infusions? I have them instead of squash

Yep - I quite fancy the orange pineapple and whatever one - exactly the same carb count - but there again more likely to grab the open bottle of T's flavoured fizzy water straight out of the fridge if I want a cold drink anyway, than go to the very small trouble of getting a glass out and making it ! Saves washing up, too. I'm very keen on the latter .....

Generally I find any Robinsons / Asda / Sainsburys ‘no added sugar’ squash leaves my BG unscathed
