Wow what a week, my 2 year old daughter was diagnosed last monday, we came home from hospital friday and this is the first time i've been on line for more info and i thought this would be a good place to start for info and support. Sophie is having insulin 3 times a day at meal times and to be honest she is coping really well. Her levels are all over the place and we return to the hospital on the 2nd Jan. I haven't got alot to say at mo so i'm going now to read all about what you lot have been posting about.
Take care
Bye for now

Welcome Maria

Hope things soon settle.
What a time of year with all the excitement along with your worries and reduced medical services.

Ther are quite a few 'Mums' use this board and I'm sure you'll get a lot of help and reassurance.

welcome. Glad to hear your daughter is coping well. What insulin is she on?
Hope you find the support here you are looking for.

My daughter was diagnosed 3 years ago this year so I know where you are coming from - life will settle down and before you know it you will both be taking it in your stride. Hope all went well on the 2nd Jan for you!
