Newbie saying hello

Hi, so new to this and have taken some tips from the site over the last couple of months. I was diagnosed a T2 last Oct and I'm currently on metformin twice a day. I'm slowly losing weight, I'm far from perfect but I'm trying!
Could I ask you all about spa treatments. I'm supposed to be having a girlie day out soon, celebrating a relatives birthday and I've booked a facial but I'm I've read so many different things, I'm really unsure if I should have it or any other treatment for that matter any advice would be great

Hi and welcome to the forum.
I have responded to your spa question on your other thread, but it really comes down to personal choice with spa treatments.... what options are available?
How are you managing with your diabetes? Would you like to share your readings (HbA1c) with us, so we have an idea of where you are at on the diabetic scale? It is not compulsory but helps us to give appropriate advice.... ie if your reading is over 100 then probably not a good idea to indulge in afternoon tea and cakes/scones at the spa day. If you are just in the 50s, one treat off the cake stand is probably not going to do you too much harm.
