HI all

Not sure what to say here so I'll give you a short medical history as far as diabetes is concerned.

About 3 years ago I had a routine blood test which showed high sugar levels. My GP suspected diabetes and referred me for a GTT. The result was negative. No one knew what this meant so the conclusion was to have another blood test 3 months later. This continued for just over 2 years.

In July 2009 I was diagnosed with chronic pancreatitis - something I have probably had since I was 14 but has been undetected for almost 30 years - which kind of made sense of my blood tests.

Strictly speaking I am diabetic but managing it through diet and exercise. I currently test my levels once a week (one fasting and one 2 hours after meals).

I have a couple of questions which i've posted in the main area.
