Relationship to Diabetes
Type 2
As a Type 2 I would be keen to know if there is such a thing as a safe biscuit available to buy. I thought I was eating a safe brand and yes no sugar but the carbs were off the scale and my levels rocketed.

For a Type 2, it's all about the carbohydrates and how well you tolerate them.
Food which is OK for one Type 2 may cause unacceptably high Blood Glucose spikes for another.
That's because we have different genes. gut biome, insulin resistance etc.

Here's a link to the blog post which set me on the route to remission (it only took a few months and I'm now over 3yrs in drug free remission): https://josekalsbeek.blogspot.com/2019/11/the-nutritional-thingy.html

Sweet biscuits are generally going to be high in carbs. Making your own will mean you can make them low carb by using almond flour or ground almonds instead of wheat flour, plenty of recipes on the website sugarfreelondoner.
Crackers like ryvita, Karg emmantal and pumkin seed crackers are very nice.
