Relationship to Diabetes
Type 2
Newbie info. I'm a type 2 insulin dependent diabetic, also take Metformin. I'm 72 years old and live with my dog Merlin. My only problem is sleeping the clock round. Especially over the last 2 years. I get days when I could knock the world over and others I sleep after breakfast, lunch and dinner. then go to bed! Any one else have this problem?

HI Jeffer! What's your BG doing on the days you have no energy and, how did you change your diet once you knew you had diabetes?

It is probably worth you asking for some blood tests to check for anaemia and your vit B12 as both those if low can cause tiredness.

Welcome to the forum @Jeffer

Sorry to hear you’ve been experiencing some fatigue.

As others have said, there can be many reasons, from glucose levels to vitamin or hormone imbalances.

Your mood can also have a big impact on energy levels.

Everyone gets a little weary from time to time, but if this has become your constant state, or if your tiredness is having a negative effect on your life, it would be worth getting it looked into.
