Hi. Don't tell but I'm new to the forums. I've been T1D for over 4 months now and use Novorapid and Lantus. For BG readings I use the Freestyle Libre, which honestly makes things so much easier for me. Getting my first hbA1c this month. Hardest part of diagnosis for me was probably losing my hope of joining the army as an infantry soldier after college.

I enjoy countryside walks and videogames. I am studying my A levels but not enjoying myself as I was on a streak of health mishaps these past 4 months (t1d, collapsed lung, hospitalised for infection). Still looking on the bright side!

Hi Shinty - you'll be OK now for a good while since bad luck always manifests in threes, and you had all of your three quickly. It's all good from now on!

Lol, I got mad at my sister when she told me that "bad things come in threes" after the second incident. If it's anything to go by, I felt weirdly relieved after the third time.

Hello welcome to the forum 🙂.
