At risk of diabetes
Hi everyone
I am pre diabetic and have been struggling with itchy legs and blurry vision.. so hopefully I can reverse this with my new friend.. my nutribullet and my love of spinach.
I am morbidly obese with a BMI of 37 percent. But I'm trying to Massively lose my 8 stone excess.

I got a Nutribullet just before diagnosis, it remains almost as new, as using it breaks down the structure of the plant material and releases the carbohydrate, causing spikes. Even a smoothie made from lettuce caused a spike.
Were you planning a liquid diet?

Hello @Sevendials and welcome to the forum

Thanks for the recipe you posted, it sounds very tasty.
I have also recently bought a soup maker. It has a 'chunky soup' option which doesn't break things down quite so much, although I haven't experienced the spike problem with smooth soups,

Do you know what your blood glucose level is that are putting you in the pre-diabetes range?
I'm sure that loosing weight will be a big help in reducing your levels, and plenty of healthy vegetables will be a help.

Not sure how much you know about pre-diabetes, but there is some information that might help on this link:
Prediabetes | Diabetes UK | Reduce risk type 2 diabetes
There is also a lot of information on how to control blood sugars around the forum.

Best wishes and please ask any questions you have and we will always try to help.
