Hello, I have only recently signed up to Diabetes UK, admittedly I should have done this 'absolutely decades ago'.
I was diagnosed as having Type 1 diabetes in my early teens, back in 1973-74. So over the years, from the times of having to boil syringes & needles to sterilise them, along with using animal derived insulin.
In my time as a diabetic I've seen a continual evolution in diabetic care & medicine.
But the constant during my time is, and I'm sure Diabetes UK have been there.
I do not think I could describe in words the wealth & value of this Organisation.
As my years on insulin has ticked by, and my Old'ometer increases, I've joined up to learn & ever improve my diabetic care, knowledge & understanding.
:Nova rapid
:Levemir.
:Metformin.
Being my prime & direct diabetic care medicines.
