Type 2
Hi everybody
Was diagnosed with Type 2 in September 2008 aged 48, HBA1C was 10.9 on diagnosis, am on Metformin and Simvastatin. Having read a lot of the threads in here I consider myself to be quite lucky apart from the usual symptoms that led me to the doctors in the first place, I have not really had any problems apart from now knowing when I need to eat as my body tells me. I would also like to thank everybody in here for being so friendly and helpful, keep it up its nice to know that you are there if needed.

Welcome to the site...

and so glad you are finding the support and advice you need - we are always here. xx
