Relationship to Diabetes
Type 2
Hi I’ve been diagnosed type 2 . I’m still getting my head around it at the moment. I’m a fussy eater. Especially veg wise . Still trying to understand all the numbers. My count was 73. Should be half that ?. Thanks any help appreciated . Brian

Welcome to the forum @Brian66

Sorry to hear about your diagnosis. Hopefully comparing notes with people here will help get you inspired with some BG-friendly swaps and tweaks you can make to your menu - it doesn’t all have to be bland and unappetising 🙂

If you would like a good overview of T2 diabetes, to add to the knowledge you’ve already picked up, members here frequently recommend Maggie Davey’s Letter and Gretchen Becker’s book T2 Diabetes, the first year, which you can work through gradually and will give you a solid starting point.

Let us know how you get on, and fire away with any questions you have as they arise. Nothing will be considered unimportant, or ‘silly’ 🙂
