Hello,

We are PATH a recent organisation that formed as part of an Imperial College Startup event.

We are looking at creating an online platform for diabetic patients to visually track and record their progress.

Would you find the following features useful?

-collection and tracking of glucose levels, insulin records (both automated and manual)
-exercise plans
-diet plans and advise

What other features would you like to see included?

Thank you

The PATH team.

I think it would be useful to leave your comments here Dory, so other members can see and discuss them 🙂

I already use an app on my phone (or used to) which was great and easy for me to record when out and meant I didn't have to carry my pen and book when I was out... but it was really difficult to see patterns and show it to my diabetes team as a coherent table... If there was a way of e-mailing the readings as a table which is laid out like the book I have (think they're standard but has date... insulin doses/times... BM readings at certain times eg before breakfast, after breakfast, before lunch... ... ... and space for notes) that would be perfect for me. My levels are non-sensical at the moment so I need to be able to spot patterns rather than just a daily average
xx

I don't want to put you down but, I've answered your questions and feel you still haven't come up with anything new, or anything that isn't already available in other ways. It may be helpful to have all the elements under 'one roof' but I'm not sure how you might make it work. And then there's all the square peg/round hole folks like me with my LADA, the ones with MODY or gestational diabetes and the pre-diabetics. Were you planning to fit them in somehow? We all have very different medical/support needs that must be taken into consideration if you are serious about developing an app/web tool.
