Hi Sue, I'm not familiar with the previous form (but am interested of course because I do want my son to be able to drive when he's old enough). What do you find sneaky that wasn't in there before? I wonder what their threshold is for frequency of hypos? I also wonder how many "memory meters" they plan to check. In my son's case, the truthful answer to "does it contain 3 months worth of tests" would be NO, because he tests 10-12 times a day and I think it only stores 240 results! But perhaps ticking the "no" box would result in him not getting a licence.....

Hi Red, The new form I found referred to the class 2 licence ie bigger vehicles I was just shocked that they wanted to know to the last 2nd how many hypos a driver had.
Must admit to not seeing a need for memory meters unless HGV or public transport vehicles. For an ordinary licence I would just make sure the correct boxes are ticked ie, has full hypo warnings and as long as can read the number plate should be fine.
If they dvla do start to get very picky then it's a case of quality of life is at risk as no work due to no licence so CGM's will have to be provided. Problem solved 🙂
