Type 2
Hi all,
i have a question.i am 54 year old women who has been diagnosed with type 2
as i am also at that age of being menopausal can i take sage leaf capsuls to help out with the night sweats i get. i wish i was 😎

Hi Sandra, welcome to the forum 🙂 Sorry to hear about your diagnosis - have you been given any medication for it? If you are on any medication for anything then the best bet is to ask to speak to the pharmacist. They will know whether there is a problem in taking the capsules alongside other meds. If you are not on any medications then I can't imagine there would be any harm in taking the capsules. There should be a Patient Information Leaflet with them that should list any exclusions e.g. can't be taken when pregnant - look and see if diabetes is on there or confirm they are OK next time you go to purchase some.

Regarding the diabetes, I would recommend reading Jennifer's Advice and Maggie Davey's letter and getting a copy of Type 2 Diabetes: The First Year by Gretchen Becker - these will give you a good understanding of diabetes and how to achieve good control of your levels 🙂 If you have any questions about anything, please ask and we will try our best to help out 🙂

I can't really see why it would be a problem then - most products will specifically state if they are unsuitable for people with diabetes 🙂

Welcome to the forum Sandra59 🙂
