New twitter follower.

I've got a new follower on Twitter. Someone called Kim Yeomans. They must share my interests, I thought, so I opened up the notification and read their profile.

Bio We are trying to educate diabetic suffers on the advantages of using glucare.

I googled Glucare and found this site advertising snake oil. 😡

USA of course. The scary thing is, they have followers, who presumably believe what they're being told. Parasites.

HI Mike. Not a prob. Just wanted to highlight how many nasty people are trying to sell 'miracle' cures and the methods used.

Cheers Rob. These spammers are often followed by other spammers, or have lots of accounts and follow themselves so it looks as though they have some creedence.

I did wonder how they get so many followers. There are obviously going to be people who are desparate enough as well as those who just follow anyone and anything !
