Relationship to Diabetes
Hi all,

I'm a developer of health care applications for mobile devices.
Maybe I'm not diabetic, but I have hypertension and I know how important is to regularly record your measurements.
I've joined this community, because I've created android application for maintaining my hypertension and I have changed it to version accustomed for Diabetics.
I would like to ask all you of you for help.
In this app among others you can create records, describe them, view history and graphs. Here goes my question:
Could you please take a look at this app and share your feedback?
What feature would you like to have, what you like/dislike?

You can find my Android Diabetes application here.

Downloaded and installed. I'll let you know how it works when compared to OnTrack which I've been using for a while now.

First impressions, it's very pretty to look at and easy to set up. Entering data is fairly intuitive, but doesn't present correctly when you look at the log entry. I chose mg/dl because that's what most of us in the UK are used to, we're slowly changing to mmol instead but it gives me a headache to try and work out what the mmol reading is when I test.

Looking at the log entry after I made it, it showed 64.00 instead of 6.4. It's good that you gave us the choice but you need to ensure the figures show correctly in the log. If my reading was really 64.00 I'd probably be dead.

Many of us like to keep records of what insulin or other medications we take and when, you might think of adding an area specifically for that. Also, diary notes of exercise taken and food eaten are common requirements for us. Though we can put that in the Tags area I suppose, it's not ideal.

You've made a good start though I think.

Think you got that the wrong way round Alison - we're mmol/l, the US are mg/dl 😉

Oops! You're right, I'm an idiot. Sorry Szymon, it displays correctly now.
