Hello @Mgt ,

Welcome to our online community! How are you managing so far with diabetes?

At the moment not so good. At the stage of finding the right dose level

Welcome to the forum @Mgt

Hopefully it won’t be long before the insulin really starts helping. Have you been getting high levels, low levels, or both?

Which insulin(s) have you been started on? A mixed? A long-acting? Or a combination of fast acting for meals and a long acting ‘background’?

Have you been advised to keep a food diary during this transition? Sometimes that can help to keep your daily carbohydrate intake fairly steady - which can be helpful depending on which insulin(s) you are on.
