How did your diagnosis come about? Do you have diabetes in the family? Did your symptoms come on suddenly or over a long period? Or did it arrive out of the blue, unannounced?
Have you been given any medication? Or will you start with diet and exercise?
Were you given an HbA1c result that helps you understand how far into ‘diabetes territory’ you are at the start of your journey?
