Hello I am new to This site I am type 2,looking for help and support I have got chronic pancreatic so it doesn’t bwork at all 🙂

Welcome to the forum Julie. In your post you say T2. In your details it's T1?

When I was first diagnosed was Type 1 since then I have had chronic pancreatic serval times and it’s stopped working altogether now that’s why I am type 2,the Pancrus doesn’t work at don’t have any linsulin come ing from the they that’s why I am type 2 This should answer to your question

Hi @Julietonk1
welcome to the forum. could even be Type 3c?

Either way I’m sure you‘ll find plenty of support here. How’s your diabetes generally? Any burning questions or things that are difficult or going particularly well at the moment?

Bruce I am type 2,Dieabets and on insulin 3 times the strength or normal insulin got reading in the range of 20 to 30 most days talk to dr tomorrow yet again about results now he as put doseage up

Im a tad confused, surely by what you've said and having chronic pancreatitis and producing no insulin you are type 1 as i have what you have and are type 1.

Yes the high blood sugar readings I have got.

Julie - you absolutely need to talk to your GP cos you absolutely cannot go on with your meter readings that high. Have you changed your diet to reduce your carbohydrate intake?

Had a good chat with the GP this morning he wants to put my lnsulin up again talk to him on Tuesday and see him to He as said I am T1 and T 2 becase of pancreatics and assiatit to lnsulin which don’t help Thank you need to low my carbs not sure we’re to start x

Both T1 and T2! Well that's a little bit of a surprise.
While you've to manage carbs, and reducing is support by many, you've to be careful. At least initally. And when your insulin does is being adjust. Both should bring down you BG. While as a new diabetic, this is something that needs to be done, it is possibly to do it too quickly. And being on insulin you'll be at risk of hypos (going too low).
You've to balance your food intake to the insulin. There's a course you can do (Dafne). This will give information on adjusting your insulin for the food you eat. So I gather. This gives you more flexability
Keep a food diary, along with a record of your levels. Hopefully after a couple of weeks you'll start to see a pattern. From the food you eat, along with the changes in insulin use.
