Hi everyone!

I've been diabetic for nearly 9 years now and so far have been on tablets. These no longer seem to be working and my doctor has referred me to a speciallist nurse who he says will put me on injections. He did say though that it won't be insulin it will be something else. Apart from being needle phobic I am worried about what this stuff is that i will be injecting. Does anyone have any idea what it might be and what it does. My main worry is that I am already overweight and i've heard that insulin makes you put more weight on so will this other injectin stuff do the same! Any info or help from anyone will be greatly appreciated!

Hi Meema, I've answered your question in the other thread, so I'll close this so things don't get mixed up 🙂
