Hi,
I have a new partner who has diabetes, he's been slow to tell me about it and gets a bit " macho" and blasé I need to find out as much as I can. Can anyone point me in the right direction.
Hi Real ly, welcome to the forum 🙂 What type of diabetes does he have, and how long has he been diagnosed? If you look in our Useful links thread you will find links to some good sources of information, so having a browse there would be a good place to start 🙂 Depending on the type of diabetes, Type 1 Diabetes in Children, Adolescents and Young People by Ragnar Hanas is the best book about Type 1 (whatever the age!), and Type 2 Diabetes: The First Year by Gretchen Becker is the best book for Type 2.
