If you are towards the bottom edge of the diabetes range it may be that only relatively modest tweaks to your menu will be needed to give your metabolism a helping hand.
Many folks in the forum find that along with cutting back on sweet and sugary things, moderating and reducing portion sizes of the starchy carb content of meals can be very effective.
Eg rather than a whole bowl of cereal, some here find it’s gentler on their levels to base their breakfast on thick greek yoghurt with some berries, and a sprinkling of granola for crunch. It‘s the very similar components, but just in different proportions

There’s no ‘one size fits all’ approach that works for everyone, so partly it’s about trying things and seeing which options suit you
