Hi there,
My husband has very recently had a heart attack, and then found that he had type 2 diabetes, with a level of 22. He has been remarkably lucky, and he has been very good at cutting out his sugar intake, as well as being mindful of carbs. He has started the re-hab sessions for his heart this week, and his sugar levels are closely monitored - he found that they dropped considerably.
I have found it really hard to understand it all. Looking briefly at the notices already put up, I think I might get him to write down his meals, so we can monitor his body's reaction. He is also getting used to injecting himself, and sorting out meds with the docs/pharmacy. It's not always that straight-forward - and they don't always get it right.
